Sawdust: I believe that every piece we create tells a story. When I'm working on a custom resin table, I’m not just joining two materials; I’m joining two parts of a narrative, the rugged life of the wood and the delicate art of the objects within it.

Ink: The same is true for my mandala work, which is infused with layers of meaning and geometry. My cute sticker designs also tell a story, but they do it in a fun, accessible way.

Together: This is the deeper meaning behind our collaboration.

The Elements of Our Narrative

  • The Wood: It’s the history. A slab of walnut from a century old tree holds stories of seasons, of growth and struggle. We preserve its natural flaws, like knots or spalting, because they are an integral part of its story.

  • The Inclusions: These are the plot points. The bullet casings we encapsulate are a client’s family legacy. The leaves we press in resin are a memory of a specific hike. The intricate sticker designs of mountain passes are a celebration of their beauty.

  • The Ink/Design: This is the emotional core. The lines transform something chaotic into something beautiful, bringing order and intention to the ruggedness of the wood. The geometric patterns in our commissioned mandalas are not random; they represent balance, harmony, and interconnectedness. The sticker designs echo this, but with a more lighthearted tone.

Pro Tip

To make your art truly speak, think about what story you want to tell before you even start. Let the materials guide the narrative, not the other way around.

Final Thoughts

We don’t just make art; we act as witnesses and interpreters. We preserve moments in time and transform raw materials into beautiful stories you can live with every day.
